“Aletheia” (ἀλήθεια) is a Greek word meaning “truth” or “reality.”

In a biblical context, Aletheia refers to divine truth, particularly revealed through the person and work of Jesus Christ.

In John 14:6, Jesus tells His disciples, “I am the way, the truth (Aletheia), and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

In John 8:32, Jesus again says, “Then you will know the truth (Aletheia), and the truth (Aletheia) shall set you free.”

As disciples of Christ we are called to know and walk in truth in relationship with the Holy Spirit and the body of believers.

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.
— Psalm 1:1-3

Our Mission

To fellowship in community as a body of believers providing support, accountability, and connection. (Acts 2:42-47)

To grow in our knowledge of truth which is revealed through special revelation in God’s word to be equipped for every good work God has prepared for us. (2 Timothy 3:10-17)

To experience the presence and transformative power of the Holy Spirit through corporate worship. (Hebrews 13:15-16)

  • “And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.”

  • “You, however, have followed my teaching, my conduct, my aim in life, my faith, my patience, my love, my steadfastness, my persecutions and sufferings that happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, and at Lystra—which persecutions I endured; yet from them all the Lord rescued me. Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”

  • “Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name. Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.”

We meet every Thursday at 6:15pm for food and fellowship, before worship and Bible study.

Can’t wait to see you there!
