“14) You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15) Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16) In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 4:14-16
The Outreach Ministry at Jesus House Ocala is dedicated to extending the love of Jesus beyond the church walls and into the local community and beyond. “God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” John 4:24
The Worship Ministry at Jesus House Ocala exists to lead the congregation into a deeper awareness of Jesus' presence through heartfelt worship and a spirit of excellence. Volunteers in this ministry play a vital role in creating an atmosphere where people can encounter God through music.
Our worshipers participate in weekly rehearsals and prepare spiritually and musically for services. They lead the congregation in worship during services, creating an inviting and reverent atmosphere. As such, we do require a “try-out” to ensure unity and excellence in the worship experience.
Our worship technicians provide the critical support needed to ensure that worship services run smoothly from a technical perspective. They handle the behind-the-scenes elements that enhance the worship experience including: operating audio, visual, and lighting systems during services/events. They also, Collaborate with the worship team to create an environment that enhances worship through sound and visuals.
Both worshipers and worship technicians work together to create a seamless and spirit-filled worship experience. Whether on stage or behind the scenes, these volunteers embody a shared purpose: to glorify God and help the congregation experience His presence in a powerful way.
